Our Halloween cocktail making master class starts with a welcome drink and some nibbles before you are expertly guided through making 3 Halloween cocktails as a group for you to enjoy.

Will you enter the depths of Dalby to experience true ‘Fear in the forest’? If you dare, explore the spooky woodland and strange goings-on along our Halloween trail. What awaits in the Tunnel of Terror? Who lurks in the dark and what tales will they share?

Come along to meet a rogues’ gallery of despicable characters which include Spooky Spectres and Gruesome Ghouls. Wicked plots will be threaded together by twisted storytellers from Lady Lumley’s School, gifted in the dark arts of horror and suspense!

There is also live bats and creepy crafts.

It’s a family friendly evening out – the walk itself is suitable for those aged 5 and over with a parent or guardian (under 5's at parental discretion are free of charge and do not require a ticket) .

We encourage brave visitors to join in the fearsome fun by wearing fancy dress! Remember to bring a torch and wear sturdy footwear.

£5 a ticket, price includes buffet tea, party games with prizes, disco and a trick or treat bag!

We all like to dress up for Halloween and what better place than Whitby to go trick or treating this All Hallows’ Eve. Come and join in the fun aboard the ship 4.30pm-6.30pm for a spookily good dining experience.

We’ve got lots of games, activities and spine chillingly good Halloween themed food to enjoy. Feel free to come in fancy dress, as there’ll be a prize for the best dressed adult, best dressed child and best dressed family.

Join us for a magical panto style show full of messy ghostly fun for the whole family. Help Magic Mike and Count Chuckula keep an eye on the spookometer just in case anything un-toward should happen. Oh yes it will!!
With amazing costumes and routines form the Hey Presto Dancers and spooktackular colourful sets this show visually could possible be one of our audience favourites with families coming back to see this hilarious stage show year after year! Don’t forget - if you like, dress up in your favourite costumes to add to the excitement!!

At part of our week long themed Halloween event we will have some finger tingling special trains running. The Halloween Express will depart from Peasholm for a spooky return train ride to Scalby Mills. Anyone who is in fancy dress will get a prize. Please note later trains are not suitable for children under the age of 7 years.

So open those closets, dust the cobwebs off your best Halloween outfits and get ready to 'trick or treat yo-self' because we're all going to make this one 'un-BOO-lievable!'

The 'Fangtastic' DJ Dennis is on the decks again, he'll no doubt be dropping some 'wicked' tunes so don't forget to give him a wave from the dance floor!

There will also be FREE face painting on the night by Julie Marie for anyone who wants it!

So get it in your diaries, get ready for some 'skele-fun' don't forget to 'creep it real' and let's get this party 'startled!'

On our tour we will visit the old town, Quay street, St Mary's Church and end up at the Castle.

Spooky Woodland Trail awaits brave visitors at Burton Agnes Hall!

If you're feeling brave this half term, why not venture over to Burton Agnes Hall and take part in the fantastically spooky woodland trail!

Intrepid visitors are invited on an eerie hunt round the Hall’s atmospheric woodland, where clues are hidden amidst spooky Halloween scenes of witches, spiders and ghostly figures.

Once the entire puzzle has been solved, a treat awaits in the Gift Shop. Try not to let the haunting sounds and mysterious shadows of the historic woodland walk scare you whilst searching!

Admission prices: Adults £7.00, Seniors £6.50, Children (4-15 years) £4.00, Under 4s free
