Whether you know the Latin name for each plant, or simply love your garden and are looking for new ideas, the Gardeners’ Fair makes a really satisfying day out for garden enthusiasts.
During the weekend of the 16th and 17th June, the grounds of the Elizabethan home become a gardener’s dream. With a wide range of specialist nurseries displaying superb plants for sale, gardening tools, garden furniture, ornaments and gifts, there is much to excite and inspire amateur and serious gardeners alike.
Visitors are invited to explore the Hall’s award winning gardens, which previously won theHHA Christie’s Garden of the Year Award, and which we anticipate will be looking their best, with flamboyant displays of colour, shape and texture. There will also be a magnificent floral display in the house, created by Bishop Burton College students. If you are seeking advice, then look no further. Burton Agnes’ gardening team will be on hand all weekend to share their knowledge and expertise, and throughout the weekend there will be a programme of specialist talks in the Hall’s Dining Room, chosen to examine a range of popular gardening topics.
