Making A Splash - Hornsea Art Society

The members of Hornsea Art Society are hosting a specially curated event as part of ArtWaves, Making A Splash. Visitors of all ages can have try their hand at various activities including painting, textiles, sculpture and ceramics!

This event is free of charge to attend and aims to give you an insight into what Hornsea Art Society does and the local talent involved; enabling them to be voted runners-up in the Art Club of the Year competition 2017. 

Come along, be inspired and try something new!

The Hornsea Art Society was founded in 1969 by a small group of people sharing a common interest and enthusiasm for drawing and painting.

Over the years the society has flourished and membership now fluctuates just short of the 90 mark.

Monthly meetings, with demonstrations or illustrated talks by artists, are held on the second Friday of the month.

If you are interested in the society, please take time to join us at one of our monthly meetings. Talk to members and enjoy a demonstration. We'd love to have you join us permanently. 

Please come to the foyer 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
