The 15th Scarborough Jazz Festival

I think we have a very special programme of top quality jazz for our fifteenth festival. Doesn’t time fly!  We kick off with a bang not a whimper with the amazing New York Brass Band. And then, over the weekend:

Mike Gibbs Celebrates his 80th Birthday - with the Hans Koller 17 piece Big Band.  Stan Tracey Legacy Big Band led by his son Clark.

A variety of swinging modern jazz
Clarinet Maestros, Alan Barnes & The Lowest Common Denominator, Hexagonal, Loire Funk All Stars, Nicolas Meier Quartet, Nikki Iles & Stan Sultzman, Seven Pieces of Silver,

All in the wonderful Spa Grand Hall with lots of exciting fringe events.  And of course our incomparable compere Alan Barnes.
