Walking Tours

Essential York Tour

A tailor made Essential York walk including the best of the Walls, Historic Streets and Snickelways (York's picturesque hidden alleyways), plus the exterior of the Minster; we also have Minster accredited guides if you wish to include the Minster interior (Minster admission is extra).

Coach Tours

We offer a special service to coach parties comprising of a one hour guided tour on your coach followed by a one hour walk with one or two guides, or a coach commentary tour on its own lasting one to one and a half hours with one guide. 

Guided Walks & Tour Prices

For walking tours we charge a flat fee of £95 per guide and recommend one guide for every 20-25 people to ensure safety and to enable all clients to hear the guide and enjoy their experience.
A personal guiding service for one or two people is available: £65 minimum for up to 2 hours, and £25 for each additional hour.
Foreign language tours carry a supplement – please ask for a quotation; but as a general rule they carry a supplement of £30 per guide.
Coach parties (2 hours - ½ coach commentary / ½ walk with 1 guide) will cost £95 - £110 depending on the number of people in the group. Coach drivers and leaders/couriers are FREE.
Days out by coach or car £160 - £220 per guide depending on length of day.
As all tours are tailored to your requirements, prices for very large or very small groups are open to negotiation.
